Unit Map No. 146 attached hereto and incorporated herein <br /> by reference, is placed in an "S" (Study) District for <br /> a period of four months pursuant to provisions of Govern- <br /> ment Code §65858. <br /> <br />Seaion 2. The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated April 18, <br /> 1960 referred to in §2-12.12, Chapter 2, Title II of the <br /> Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton designating and <br /> dividing the City into zoning districts is hereby amended <br /> <br /> in accordance with the action set forth in Section 1 abc~ <br />Section 3. This ordinance is declared to be adopted pursuant to <br /> <br /> §65868 of the Government Code of the State of California <br /> and is necessary and required to protect the public <br /> safety, health and welfare of the citizens of the City of <br /> Pleasanton for the reasons stated above. <br /> <br /> Section 4. This ordinance shall be in force and effect immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption and shall be of no further <br /> force and effect four months after its adoption unless <br /> extended by law, or unless, prior to expiration, the City <br /> Council enacts legislation changing the property <br /> <br /> in Exhibit A to a different zoning classification. <br /> Seaion 5. If any section, subsection, subdivision, paragraph, <br /> <br /> sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance or any part <br /> thereof is, for any reason, held to be unconstitutional, <br /> such decision shall not effect the viability of the remai <br /> ing portion of this ordinance or any part thereof. The <br /> City Council hereby declares that it would have passed <br /> each section, subsection, subdivision, paragraph, sen- <br /> tence, clause or phrase thereof irrespective of the fact <br /> that any one or more sections, subsections, subdivisions <br /> paragraphs, sentences, clauses or phrases be declared <br /> unconstitutional. <br /> <br />Section 6. This Ordinance shall be published once within fifteen <br /> (15) days after its adoption in "THE TIMZS", a newspaper <br /> <br /> -2- <br /> <br /> <br />
