These requirements shall be printed on the site, grading, and landscape plans <br />where applicable to the satisfaction of the Director of Community Development. <br />33. In the event that human remains are discovered during grading or construction, <br />work shall stop immediately. There shall be no disposition of such human <br />remains, other than in accordance with the procedures and requirements set forth <br />in California Health and Safety Code Section 7050.5 and Public Resources <br />Section 5097.98. These code provisions require notification of the County <br />Coroner and the Native American Heritage Commission, who in tum must notify <br />the persons believed to be most likely descended from the deceased Native <br />American for appropriate disposition of the remains. These requirements shall be <br />printed on the site, grading, and landscape plans where applicable to the <br />satisfaction of the Director of Community Development. <br />34. The applicant/developer shall implement construction best management practices <br />to reduce construction noise, including: <br />a) Locate stationary construction equipment as far from adjacent occupied <br />buildings as possible. <br />b) Select routes for movement of construction - related vehicles and equipment so <br />that noise - sensitive areas, including residences and outdoor recreation areas, <br />are avoided as much as possible. Include these routes in materials submitted <br />to the City of Pleasanton for approval prior to the issuance of building permits. <br />c) All site improvements and construction activities shall be limited to the hours of <br />8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on <br />Saturday. In addition, no construction shall be allowed on State and federal <br />holidays. If complaints are received regarding the Saturday construction <br />hours, the Community Development Director may modify or revoke the <br />Saturday construction hours. The Community Development Director may <br />allow earlier "start times" for specific construction activities (e.g., concrete <br />foundation/floor pouring), if it can be demonstrated to the satisfaction of the <br />Community Development Director that the construction and construction traffic <br />noise will not affect nearby residents. Prior to construction, the hours of <br />construction shall be posted on site. <br />d) All construction equipment must meet DMV and City noise standards and shall <br />be equipped with muffling devices. <br />e) Designate a noise disturbance coordinator who will be responsible for <br />responding to complaints about noise during construction. The telephone <br />number of the noise disturbance coordinator shall be conspicuously posted at <br />the construction site and shall be provided to the City of Pleasanton.
