0 <br /> i CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 74-140 <br /> A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE MEMORANDUM OF <br /> UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> AND THE PLEASANTON CITY EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION <br /> AND FIXING SALARIES AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOY- <br /> MENT FOR ENUMERATED CLASSES OF EMPLOYEES FOR <br /> FISCAL YEAR 1974-75 . <br /> WHEREAS , the City of Pleasanton , acting through the City Manager <br /> as employer representative of the City Council , and <br /> the Pleasanton City Employees Association have met <br /> and conferred pursuant to the provisions of Section <br /> 3500 , et. seq. , of the Government Code in regard to <br /> wages , hours and other terms and conditions of employ- <br /> ment for members of the Pleasanton City Employees <br /> Association; and <br /> WHEREAS , as a result of the above meeting and conferring pro- <br /> cess a Memorandum of Understanding dated June 26 , 1974 <br /> was entered into between the City Manager and repre- <br /> sentatives of the Pleasanton City Employees Association; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, said Memorandum of Understanding was presented to the <br /> City Council at an adjourned regular meeting of July 1 , <br /> 1974 ; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Council has been advised that the Memorandum of <br /> Understanding is for a one year term, the fiscal year <br /> 1974-75 and contained certain benefits to be granted <br /> to employees represented by Pleasanton City Employees <br /> Association during the term of said agreement; and <br /> WHEREAS , there are employees not represented by the Pleasanton <br /> City Employees Association to whom the City Council <br /> wishes to provide salary adjustments and benefits in <br /> order that all employees are treated fairly; <br />
