take 7 hours including travel time. An amendment to this scope of work would be required to conduct any additional nesting bird surveys that exceed the allocated budget. Burrowing Owl Surveys: A site-specific evaluation has not been conducted to determine if suitable burrowing owl habitat occurs within 250 feet of areas of disturbance. Therefore,for the purposes of this scope and budget it is assumed that burrowing owl surveys could be required at three discrete locations. Each survey location requires three individual surveys, and therefore, budget has been allocated to cover nine individual surveys,as well as the initial habitat evaluation and preparation of a report. An amendment to this scope of work would be required to conduct any additional burrowing owls surveys that may be required. Additional Monitoring/Contingency: For the purposes of this scope and budget 80 hours of additional monitoring and/or contingency tasks are assumed. Given the size and complexity of the project it is likely that related tasks will be required,however,it is not possible to predict with certainty the amount of time required to address such tasks.
