ATTACHMENT 2 <br /> City of Pleasanton <br /> Recycled Water Infrastructure Expansion—Phase IA <br /> Engineering Services During Construction <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> At the request of the City of Pleasanton (City), RMC Water and Environment(RMC) has <br /> prepared the following scope of services for providing engineering services during construction <br /> for the Recycled Water Infrastructure Expansion—Phase 1A project (Project) designed by <br /> RMC. This scope of work is provided to support the City construction manager and staff during <br /> construction of the Project. <br /> RMC will provide engineering services during construction (ESDCs) such as attendance at <br /> weekly meetings, submittal review, responding to RFIs, change order preparation support, <br /> specialty inspection support and preparation of record drawings. The RMC ESDC staff will <br /> report directly to the Resident Engineer. <br /> The assumed organization for the City's construction management and contract administration <br /> for the Project is as follows: <br /> • Owner: Daniel Smith, Director of Operations Services, City of Pleasanton <br /> • Owner's Representative: Dave Requa, Program Manager <br /> • Construction Manager: Adam Nelkie, Capital Improvements Division, City of Pleasanton <br /> • Resident Engineer: Bill Carlson, CM Carlson Management <br /> • Inspection: Inspection Services Division, City of Pleasanton <br /> • Engineering Support During Construction: Mike Matson, RMC Water and Environment <br /> Award of the Recycled Water Infrastructure Expansion Phase 1A construction contract is <br /> expected in April or May 2015. <br /> Scope of Work Estimated Fee <br /> Attached is the Fee Estimate for Scope of Work in the amount of$297,642. Actual <br /> expenditures are primarily affected by contractor performance and extent of work undertaken by <br /> City staff. The actual Scope of Work is limited to the level of effort in the Fee Estimate without <br /> further City authorization. <br /> The Scope of Work Fee Estimate is based upon the following assumptions: <br /> • Construction management and construction contract administration will be the <br /> responsibility of City staff. <br /> • Construction inspection and quality assurance will be the responsibility of City staff. <br /> • Project duration is up to 14 months however the scope of work is based upon the <br /> assumption that the majority of pipeline layout and location decisions will be completed <br /> in the first 8 months. <br /> Scope of Work 1 March 30,2015 <br /> Recycled Water Infrastructure Expansion—Phase 1A <br /> Engineering Services During Construction <br />
