CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 750 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE 1975 EDITION OF THE <br /> NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE AS PUBLISHED BY THE <br /> NATIONAL FIRE PROTECTION ASSOCIATION BY REFERENCE, <br /> WITH CERTAIN CHANGES, FIXING PENALTIES FOR VIO- <br /> LATION AND AMENDING THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON ACCORDINGLY. <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. ADOPTION OF THE 1975 EDITION OF THE NATIONAL <br /> ELECTRICAL CODE BY REFERENCE. <br /> <br /> The National Electrical Code, 1975 Edition, published <br /> <br />by the National Fire Protection Association, with the changes, <br />additions and deletions set forth in Section 2 of this ordin-- <br />ance is adopted by reference. There are three (3) copies of <br />this Uniform Code on file in the office of the City Clerk for <br />use and examination by the public. Section 2-14.03, Article 1, <br />Chapter 6, Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleas- <br />anton is amended accordingly. <br /> <br /> Section2. AMENDMENTS, MODIFICATIONS, ADDITIONS TO AND <br /> DELETIONS FROM THE 1973 EDITION OF THE UNIFORM <br /> BUILDING CODE. <br /> <br /> Section 2-14.04, Article 1, (Adoption of National Electrical <br />Code (1975) with Deletions and Modifications), Chapter 6 (Elec- <br />trical Code), Title II (Zoning and Development), of the Ordinance <br />Code of the City of Pleasanton is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> ~ 2-14.04 Amendments, Modifications, Additions to and <br /> Deletions from the Adopted Codes. The Adopted Codes <br /> are hereby changed in the following respects: <br /> <br /> a. Amendments or Modifications. ~ <br /> 1. ~here any conflict occurs between the Nationall <br /> Electrical Code and this chapter, this chapter! <br /> shall take precedence. <br /> <br /> <br />
