Iv <br /> THE CITY OF 0 <br /> CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pL EMANTON- <br /> May 19, 2015 <br /> Finance <br /> TITLE: APPROVE A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH TYLER <br /> TECHNOLOGIES IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,077,017 FOR ENTERPRISE <br /> RESOURCE PLANNING SOFTWARE AND IMPLEMENTATION <br /> SERVICES (FINANCIAL, PAYROLL, AND HUMAN RESOURCES <br /> MANAGEMENT) <br /> SUMMARY <br /> In accordance with City purchasing procedures, staff circulated a Request for Proposals <br /> (RFP) seeking a qualified firm to provide Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software <br /> and implementation services for financial, payroll, human resources, and utility billing. <br /> Three firms responded to the RFP and one firm, Tyler Technologies, was confirmed as <br /> submitting a complete response. After reviewing software demonstrations and checking <br /> references, staff is recommending the City enter into a professional services agreement <br /> with Tyler Technologies, Inc. in accordance with the scope of work and fees set forth in <br /> Attachment 1. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> 1. Approve the professional services agreement with Tyler Technologies for software <br /> and implementation services not-to-exceed the amount of$1,077,017. <br /> 2. Authorize the City Manager to execute the subject contract, subject to minor <br /> modifications approved by the City Manager and City Attorney. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> Funding for the ERP software and implementation services is included in the proposed <br /> FY 2015/16 budget within the Information Technology Replacement Fund. <br />
