THE CITY OF ^ <br /> -� s CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pLEASANTON. <br /> May 19, 2015 <br /> City Manager <br /> TITLE: APPOINTMENT OF COUNCILMEMBER TO ALAMEDA COUNTY <br /> COMMUNITY CHOICE AGGREGATION PROGRAM STEERING <br /> COMMITTEE <br /> SUMMARY <br /> President of the Alameda County Supervisors, Scott Haggerty, has invited each <br /> municipal jurisdiction in the county to serve on a Steering Committee to advise the <br /> Board of Supervisors on key aspects of a Community Choice Aggregation program, i.e., <br /> a program that would allow for competition in electricity generation services. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Staff recommends the City Council appoint Councilmember Jerry Pentin to serve on the <br /> Steering Committee. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> Participation on the Sub-Committee will have no impact on City finances. <br />
