THE CITY OF <br /> ice/ 4i .� <br /> on L pLEASANTONc <br /> SUPPLEMENTAL MATERIAL <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> roviaed to the City Council <br /> After Distribution of Packet <br /> Date: May 5, 2015 <br /> Date <br /> To: Mayor Mayor and City Council <br /> From: Nelson Fialho, City Manager <br /> Subject: P15-0008, Modified Condition of Approval <br /> Staff is recommending the following clarification to the Conditions of Approval (Attachment 1, Exhibit <br /> A) to ensure that appropriate interior noise standards would be maintained in tenant spaces adjacent <br /> to the proposed vocational training facility. <br /> Only the condition of approval with changes is shown below, with additions shown in underline. All <br /> other recommended conditions of approval are unchanged. <br /> Modified Condition of Approval <br /> 7. The applicant shall install a sound-reducing product in the demising walls that meets or <br /> exceeds a sound transmission class (STC) rating of 50 STC, such that an interior noise <br /> standard of 45 dBA Lan would be maintained in the adjacent tenant spaces. Prior to issuance <br /> of a building permit, a qualified noise consultant shall review the applicable building permit <br /> plans to ensure that the sound-reducing product has been properly incorporated into the <br /> demising wall design. Prior to occupancy, the consultant shall certify in writing that such <br /> sound-reducing product has been installed. <br />
