Public Comment from the audience regarding items not listed on the agenda <br /> There were none. <br /> MATTERS BEFORE THE COMMISSION <br /> 4. Selection of One (1) Commissioner to serve on the Civic Center/Library Facilities <br /> Master Plan Task Force <br /> Ms. Hopkins advised that City Council's current work plan priorities includes putting together a <br /> Civic Center/Library Facilities Master Plan Task Force to conduct preliminary planning studies <br /> and evaluating options for the possibility of developing a new library and administrative building <br /> on both the existing civic center site and other sites that could include the Bernal Property. <br /> The Commission was informed that the Task Force would include member one member from <br /> each of the Parks and Recreation, Library, Planning, and Youth Commissions, the Economic <br /> Vitality Committee, Pleasanton Downtown Association, three members of the Community, and <br /> the Mayor and Vice Mayor. Meetings of the Task Force would likely be 2-3 hours per month for <br /> a 1-1.1/2 year period. <br /> Ms. Hopkins asked the Commission to discuss this request and appoint one (1) Commissioner <br /> to serve on the Civic Center/Library Facilities Master Plan Task Force. She suggested the <br /> Commission also consider appointing an Alternate member to the Task Force. <br /> Commissioners Lo, Ambrosiewicz and Patel indicated they would like to service on this Task <br /> Force. <br /> A motion was made by Chairperson Sinha seconded by Commissioner Rigl, to nominate <br /> Commissioner Lo to represent the Youth Commission on the Civic Center/Library Facilities <br /> Master Plan Task Force, with Commissioners Ambrosiewicz and Patel as Alternates/ <br /> ROLL CALL VOTE: <br /> AYES: Allan, Ambrosiewicz, Chew, DuBose, Franklin, Inman, Lo, Patel, <br /> Pearce, Rigl, and Chairperson Sinha. <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Nirkondar, and Grewal. <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> 4. Recommendation to Allocate Community Grant Funds for Fiscal Year 2015/16 <br /> Ms. Hopkins reviewed with Commissioners the Community Grant Funds allocation process, <br /> Youth Commission Minutes <br /> November 13,2013 <br /> Page 2 <br />
