CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> April 21, 2015 <br /> Community Development <br /> Engineering Division <br /> TITLE: REJECT THE BID RECEIVED FOR THE BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN <br /> RELATED IMPROVEMENTS AT ARROYO MOCHO TRAIL PROJECT - <br /> CIP 115043 <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The Bicycle and Pedestrian Related Improvements at the Arroyo Mocho Trail Project <br /> consists of paving the Arroyo Mocho Trail from Sutter Gate Avenue east to the new <br /> Stoneridge Drive Bridge. The project was advertised for bid, and one bid was received <br /> on March 24, 2015. The bid received was significantly above the amount of funding <br /> available for the project. Staff is recommending that the bid be rejected, the project <br /> scope of work be reduced, and the project re-bid. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> 1. Reject all bids and direct staff to reduce the project scope and re-bid the project. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> There is no financial impact as a result of this action. <br />
