Approved regular meeting minutes of February 17, 2015 and regular and special meeting minutes <br /> of March 3, 2015 <br /> Community Development <br /> 2. Reviewed the actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission <br /> 3. Approved and authorized the 1s' amendment to the professional services agreement with <br /> Environmental Science Associates (ESA) in the amount of $66,531 for the preparation of an <br /> Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the Johnson Drive Economic Development Zone <br /> 4. Waived second reading and adopted Ordinance No. 2114 approving the application of Brad <br /> Blake, BI-IV CenterStreet Properties, LLC, for PUD Development Plan approval to construct an a <br /> 112,000 sq. ft. shopping center and related site improvements on 11.5 acres of the <br /> retail/commercial site at Staples Ranch, as filed under Case PUD-108 <br /> 5. Approved plans and specifications, review bids, awarded and authorized the City Manager to <br /> contract to Campbell Construction Company in the amount of $108,600 for the Bi-Annual Control <br /> Valve Installation project, CIP No.14101, authorized the Director of Community Development to <br /> approve and execute contract change orders amount not to exceed $10,800; and the transfer of <br /> $19,700 from the Bi-Annual Control Valve Improvements Project, CIP No.131011 <br /> Operation Services <br /> 6. Approved and authorized the City Manager to execute an agreement with CleanStreet in the <br /> amount of$213,714 for annual street sweeping services <br /> Jason Browne, Contract Sweeping Services, shared his disappointment at learning that the contract <br /> was awarded to CleanStreet. Whereas Contract Sweeping Services is local company also serving the <br /> cities of Dublin and San Ramon, CleanStreet is based out of Los Angeles. CleanStreet's failure to <br /> provide to any management level representation at the mandatory workshop resulted in their exclusion <br /> of a rather important service feature discussed at the workshop — sweeping of parking lots during day <br /> rather than evening hours. With over 2 million square feet in parking lots to be swept each month, the <br /> community would greatly benefit from Contract Sweeping Services' partnership with another local firm <br /> having over 58 years of professional experience caring for parking lots.
