ATTACHMENT 1 <br /> AGREEMENT FOR PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF ALL-WEATHER TURF <br /> THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this day of 201_between <br /> VALLEY PRECISION GRADING, INC ("Contractor") a California corporation whose address is 3330 <br /> Luyung Drive Rancho Cordova, California 94752 and the CITY OF PLEASANTON, a municipal <br /> corporation("City"). <br /> RECITALS <br /> A. Contractor is qualified and experienced in providing the work or services set forth in Exhibits <br /> A, B and C of this Agreement. <br /> B. City finds it necessary and advisable to obtain work or services from Contractor for the <br /> procurement and installation of all-weather artificial turf for all three sports fields included as part of its <br /> Bernal Community Park, Phase II Lighted Multi-Purpose Sports Fields. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants and conditions in this <br /> Agreement, City and Consultant agree as follows: <br /> 1. Term. The term of this Agreement commences on the date written above and will expire <br /> two years from that date unless the City exercises its option to extend the contract for an additional <br /> periods of time. If City elects to extend the Agreement, it shall notify the Contractor in writing that the <br /> contract is being extended. <br /> 2. Services to be Performed. Contractor shall perform the type of work or services in <br /> accordance with the specifications included in the following Exhibits: <br /> Exhibit A- Bernal Community Park, Phase II All Weather Turf Specifications dated March 3, 2015 <br /> Exhibit B- Bernal Community Park Phase II Synthetic Turf Proposal from Precision Grading Inc <br /> Exhibit C- City's Request for Proposals for the Purchase, Installation, Warranty Service, and <br /> Maintenance of Synthetic Turf for Three Multi-Use Sports Fields Being Constructed as Part <br /> of the Bernal Community Park, Phase II Construction Project <br /> The project includes procuring and installing AstroTurf DT-32 74 ounce slit film with 1.5 pounds per <br /> square foot of zeofill as infill and a Brock SP15mm shock pad in each of the three multi-purpose fields <br /> to be constructed as part of the Bernal Community Park, Phase II Lighted Multi-Purpose Sports Fields <br /> and to provide required manufacturer warranty services. The City shall coordinate the scheduling of the <br /> overall construction of the Bernal Community Park and inform Contractor no later than ninety days <br /> prior to the time that it anticipates construction will be advanced to the point of being ready to accept the <br /> installation of the all-weather artificial turf material. <br /> Page 1 of 5 <br />
