Ms. Herron is managing the multi-disciplinary <br /> 13 Years Experience team preparing the EIR, and regularly meeting with the City and Specific Plan <br /> Professional Affiliations design consultant to provide input on environmental impacts throughout the <br /> American Planning process. The specific plan will provide a long-term blueprint for guiding <br /> Association,Northern improvements in an approximately 220-acre area in the City's Southern <br /> Section,California Chapter Gateway Change Area, and will establish specific planning policies,regulations, <br /> Association of Environmental and urban design guidelines. ESA's streamlined EIR will allow the <br /> Professionals,San Francisco environmental review required for subsequent projects within the plan area to be <br /> Bay Area Chapter reduced or avoided when possible. Among other impact analyses, ESA is <br /> reviewing impacts related to the aesthetic appearance of the new development, <br /> as well as impacts related to cleanup of hazardous materials and sea level rise <br /> and flooding. <br /> City of Oakland,Oak Knoll Mixed Use Community Plan Project <br /> Supplemental E1R.Deputy Project Manager. Ms. Herron is assisting in the <br /> management of a Supplemental EIR (SEIR)for SunCal's proposal to redevelop <br /> the abandoned 168-acre Oak Knoll Naval Medical Center in Oakland. As part of <br /> this effort, Ms. Herron is preparing a critical comparison of the proposed project <br /> and impacts to those analyzed in a certified EIS/EIR for the transfer of the <br /> decommissioned naval facility in 1998,and working to develop project <br /> alternatives to be evaluated in the SEIR. <br />
