Se Lowe
September
24, 2014 /.39
preliminary traffic loads onto Johnson Drive, we will recommend site access and circulation
standards, such as shared driveways, reciprocal access agreements, intersection traffic controls,
such as traffic signals, secondary driveways or access roadways, and other guidelines. It is
expected that as developments are proposed, a detailed site access and circulation study would
be required.
Task 5—Vehicle Miles of Travel Assessment
Proposed changes to the CEQA guidelines may require preparation of estimates of vehicle miles
of travel (VMT) for the proposed project. We will use available modeling tools, either the City of
Pleasanton travel demand model or the Alameda CTC model, to estimate VMT without and with
the project for the existing and cumulative conditions. As the CEQA guidelines are finalized,
additional information will be available on the recommended method to calculate VMT.
Task 6—Documentation
Results of Tasks 1, 2,4 and 5 will be incorporated into the transportation impact assessment to be
prepared under our original scope of work. Results of Task 3 will be summarized in a standalone
memorandum.
LEVEL OF EFFORT
Fehr & Peers can complete the above tasks for an additional fee of $32,220 under the terms and
conditions of our contract dated July 22, 2014. This fee includes one iteration of Task 3. The level
of effort for each additional permutation is noted in the attached fee schedule. Please contact
Kathrin Tellez at 925-930-7100 if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
FEHR&PEERS
Kathrin Tellez,AICP, PTP
Senior Associate
P14-4172-WC
