Section 11. The Cities of Livermore, Dublin, and the Town of Danville, and the <br /> Counties of Alameda and Contra Costa shall transmit their collected assessments to the <br /> City of Pleasanton which shall administer the funds collected. <br /> Section 12. No bonds will be issued for the TVTMD. <br /> Section 13. The time and place for the public meeting to hear testimony to <br /> renew the TVTMD and levy the assessments are set for April 21, 2015, at 7:00 p.m., or <br /> as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at the Council Chambers located at 200 <br /> Old Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, CA 94566. <br /> Section 14. The time and place for the public hearing to renew the TVTMD <br /> and levy of the assessments are set for May 5, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the City of <br /> Pleasanton City Council Chambers, 200 Old Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, California. The <br /> Pleasanton City Clerk is to provide written notice to the lodging businesses of the date <br /> and time of the public meeting and hearing. <br /> Section 15. At the public meeting and hearing the testimony of all interested <br /> persons for or against the establishment of the District, the boundaries of the District, or <br /> the furnishing of specified types of improvements or activities will be heard. <br /> Section 16. A protest against the renewal of the TVTMD, the boundaries of the <br /> TVTMD, and the furnishing of a specified type of improvement or activity, as provided in <br /> Streets and Highways Code Section 36623, may be made in writing. To count in the <br /> majority protest against the TVTMD, a protest must be in writing. A written protest may <br /> be withdrawn in writing at any time before the conclusion of the public hearing. Each <br /> written protest shall contain a written description of the lodging business in which the <br /> person signing the protest is interested, sufficient to identify the lodging business and its <br /> address. If the person signing the protest is not shown on the official records of the city, <br /> town, or county in which the lodging business is located as the owner of the lodging <br /> business, then the protest shall contain or be accompanied by written evidence that the <br /> person is the owner of the lodging business. If the owner of the lodging business is a <br /> corporation, LLC, partnership or other legal entity, the authorized representative for the <br /> entity shall be authorized to sign the protest. Any written protest as to the regularity or <br /> evidence of the proceedings shall be in writing and clearly state the irregularity or defect <br /> to which objection is made. Written protests must be received by the City Clerk of the <br /> City of Pleasanton before the close of the hearing scheduled herein and may be <br /> delivered or mailed to the City Clerk, City of Pleasanton, 123 Main Street, PO Box 520, <br /> Pleasanton, California, 94566. <br /> Section 17. If at the conclusion of the public hearing, there are of record, <br /> written protests by the owners of the lodging businesses within the proposed TVTMD <br /> that will pay fifty percent (50%) or more of the estimated total assessments of the entire <br /> TVTMD, no further proceedings to renew the TVTMD shall occur for a period of one <br /> year. If the majority of written protests are only as to an improvement or activity <br /> proposed, then that type of improvement or activity shall not be included in the <br /> Management District Plan. <br /> Section 18.
