Funds remaining <br /> at the end of any year may be used in subsequent years in which TVTMD <br /> assessments are levied as long as they are used consistent with the <br /> requirements of this Resolution, the Management District Plan, and the <br /> Resolution of Renewal. If the term of the TVTBID is not extended beyond seven <br /> years (or if the term of the TVTBID is less than seven years) and there are funds <br /> remaining at the end of the term, such funds may be used for purposes <br /> consistent with the requirements of this Resolution and the Management District <br /> Plan. <br /> Section 11. The Cities of Livermore, Dublin, and the Town of Danville, <br /> and the Counties of Alameda and Contra Costa shall transmit their collected <br /> assessments to the City of Pleasanton which shall administer the funds collected. <br /> Section 12. No bonds will be issued for the TVTMD. <br /> Section 13. The time and place for the public meeting to hear testimony <br /> to renew the TVTMD and levy the assessments are set for April 21, 2015, at 7:00 <br /> p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at the Council Chambers <br /> located at 200 Old Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, CA 94566. <br /> Section 14. The time and place for the public hearing to renew the <br /> TVTMD and levy of the assessments are set for May 5, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the <br /> City of Pleasanton City Council Chambers, 200 Old Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, <br /> California. The Pleasanton City Clerk is to provide written notice to the lodging <br /> businesses of the date and time of the public meeting and hearing. <br /> Section 15. At the public meeting and hearing the testimony of all <br /> interested persons for or against the establishment of the District, the boundaries <br /> of the District, or the furnishing of specified types of improvements or activities <br /> will be heard. <br /> Section 16. A protest against the renewal of the TVTMD, the boundaries <br /> of the TVTMD, and the furnishing of a specified type of improvement or activity, <br /> as provided in Streets and Highways Code Section 36623, may be made in <br /> writing. To count in the majority protest against the TVTMD, a protest must be in <br /> writing. A written protest may be withdrawn in writing at any time before the <br /> conclusion of the public hearing. Each written protest shall contain a written <br /> description of the lodging business in which the person signing the protest is <br /> interested, sufficient to identify the lodging business and its address. If the <br /> person signing the protest is not shown on the official records of the city, town, or <br /> county in which the lodging business is located as the owner of the lodging <br /> business, then the protest shall contain or be accompanied by written evidence <br /> that the person is the owner of the lodging business. If the owner of the lodging <br /> business is a corporation, LLC, partnership or other legal entity, the authorized <br /> representative for the entity shall be authorized to sign the protest.
