Karen Diaz SUPPLaPIENTAL cuiATfi DAL,
Subject: FW: Regarding Off-Leash Dog Park on the Bernal Properptovided to the City Council
After Distribution of /Placket
Date
From: Robert and Janet Roth]
Sent: Wednesday, January 07, 2015 12:46 PM
To: Steven Bocian
Subject: RE: Notice of Parks and Recreation Commission Meeting Regarding Off-Leash Dog Park on the Bernal Property
Dear Mr. Bocian,
Neither I nor my neighbors on Foothill Place have heard back from you or other board members regarding our concerns
of the proposed dog park on the Bernal Property. We did receive a card in the mail for a meeting to finalize the final
conceptual plan. It seems that the board is not considering the issues we raised at the previous meeting when we were
very clear that the noise, added traffic, and encroachment of a dog park right behind our homes was of great concern to
us. Do we not have a voice in this issue? You stated at the meeting we attended that you had received calls and emails
from other surrounding neighborhoods as well. Due to a prior commitment I was not able to attend the meeting of Dec.
11, although I feel we were very clear in the previous meeting that we would like the dog park changed to another
location in Pleasanton. There is already a dog park less than a mile from the proposed new one. What is our next step?
Sincerely,
Janet Roth
i
