Additional information regarding neighborhood <br /> comments is included in in the Commission's December 11, 201 agenda report. <br /> Parks and Recreation Commission <br /> As part of its December 11, 2014 approval of the Conceptual Plan, the Commission <br /> recommended the following features be included in the park and these will be <br /> incorporated in the final park design documents: <br /> . Increase the height of the perimeter fencing adjacent to the Marilyn Kane Trail from <br /> 3.5 feet to 5 feet. (Note the fence in this area will be approximately 4 feet away from <br /> the trail. <br /> . Assure proper drainage at the dog lick and faucet areas <br /> . Increase the distance from the southern edge of the dog park and install additional <br /> hedge type landscaping to assure adequate separation from the Marilyn Kane Trail <br /> overlook area. <br /> . If necessary after evaluation of the dog park, install an additional dog watering area <br /> and parking. <br /> The Commission's approval was unanimous. <br /> Page 4 of 5 <br />
