Sewer System Management Plan <br /> This Sewer System Management Plan (5SMP) has been prepared by the City of Pleasanton's Operations <br /> Services Department, Environmental Services Division. It consists of policies, procedures, and activities <br /> that are included in the planning, management,operation, and maintenance of the City's sanitary sewer <br /> system. <br /> The State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) has issued Statewide Waste Discharge Requirements <br /> for sanitary sewer systems, which include requirements for development of an SSMP. This SSMP is <br /> intended to meet the requirements of the San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board and <br /> the State Water Resources Control Board. Specifically, it follows the General Waste Discharge <br /> Requirements (GWDR)for Wastewater Collection Agencies, State Water Resources Control Board Order <br /> Number 2006-0003 dated May 2, 2006 and amended by the revised Monitoring and Reporting Program <br /> (MRP) in Order WQ 2013-0058-EXEC, dated September 9, 2013. <br /> The structure (element numbering and nomenclature) of this SSMP follows the General Waste Discharge <br /> Requirements(GWDR)for Wastewater Collection Agencies. .The City's waste discharger identification <br /> number(WDID) in the California Integrated Water Quality System (CIWQS) is 255010167. <br /> 21 Page <br />
