D. FSE Inspections/Enforcement <br /> 1. Since 2008,the Environmental Services Division inspects all FSEs on an annual basis. <br /> Emphasis is on: <br /> a. Grease removal device(GRD) installation and maintenance <br /> b. Process information <br /> c. Grease management <br /> d. Best Management Practices <br /> e. Stormwater pollution prevention <br /> 2. Enforcement actions are clearly outlined in the PMC 15.44.070, Enforcement elements <br /> include: <br /> a.Authority to Inspect <br /> b.Administrative Enforcement Powers <br /> c. Grease Interceptor and Trap Installation Requirements <br /> All GRDs installed or caused to be installed are sized in conformance with the currently adopted <br /> edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code (PMC 15.44.070). <br /> F. Grease Interceptor and Trap Maintenance Requirements <br /> All GRDs installed or caused to be installed shall be kept in good repair and shall be serviced and <br /> emptied of accumulated waste content as required in order to maintain minimum design <br /> capability.These devices should be inspected at least monthly but in no case shall the User <br /> fail to inspect and maintain every 60 days. The user shall maintain a written record of all <br /> inspection, maintenance, pumping and hauling activities.The user shall submit copies of <br /> these documents to the Environmental Services Manager on or before June 30th and <br /> December 31st of each year.The user shall also keep copies of these records for the <br /> preceding two years and shall make these records available for on-site inspection by the <br /> operations services director during all operating hours. <br /> 36 IPage <br />
