BACKGROUND <br /> The Annual Curb and Gutter Replacement project consisted of removing and replacing <br /> 1,280 SF of sidewalk that presented potential tripping hazards, 837 LF of curb and gutter <br /> that had cracks and drainage problems, and installing 74 new intersection ramps for ADA <br /> accessibility. <br /> On April 15, 2014, Pleasanton's City Council awarded the contract to Breneman, Inc., in <br /> the amount of $208,573. Council authorized the Director of Community Development to <br /> approve change orders up to the project contingency amount of $31,286. The project <br /> has since been completed and is ready for acceptance. <br /> Budget <br /> Funding for the project was provided in the Annual Curb and Gutter Replacement Project, <br /> CIP No. 135009. Change orders totaling $18,477 were due to replacement of additional <br /> ramps at the intersection of Palomino Drive and Concord Street, and replacement of <br /> additional concrete sidewalk and curb & gutter. <br /> The final project funding and expenditures are summarized in Attachment 1 to this report, <br /> indicating total project expenditure of $227,352 and remaining funds in CIP No. 135009 <br /> of$72,648. <br /> Submitted by: Fiscal Review: Approved by: <br /> Brian Dolan Emily W gner Nelson Fialho <br /> Director of Director of Finance City Manager <br /> Community Development <br /> Attachments: <br /> 1.
