MINUTES <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> October 7, 2014 <br /> Mayor Thorne called the regular meeting to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. Councilmember Narum led <br /> the Pledge of Allegiance provided introductory remarks. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Brown, Cook-Kallio (via teleconference), Narum, Pentin, Mayor Thorne <br /> Absent: None <br /> CLOSED SESSION REPORT <br /> City Attorney Lowell reported the Council met in Closed Session with labor negotiators to discuss <br /> negotiations with the International Association of Firefighters Local 1974, Pleasanton Police Officer's <br /> Association, and Management & Confidential Employees. No reportable action was taken. <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> City Manager Fialho reported that staff has provided an amended resolution for Item No. 2, clarifying <br /> that the positions identified are subject to the more stringent conflict of interest regulations contained <br /> within the California Government Code, rather than those locally governed by the city. <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> Administrative Services <br /> 1. Approved as corrected regular meeting minutes of September 2, 2014, and regular and special <br /> meeting minutes of September 16, 2014 <br /> Councilmember Brown requested the correction of references to "Vice-Chair Pentin" in both meeting <br /> minutes. <br /> City Attorney <br /> 2. Biennial review of the City's Conflict of Interest Code and waived full reading and adopted <br /> Resolution No. 14-711 revising the list of designated positions required to file Statements of <br /> Economic Interests <br /> Community Development <br /> 3. Actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission <br /> 4. Accepted public improvements constructed with Tract 7940, Angela Row Houses located at 225 <br /> West Angela Street and authorized the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion <br /> 5. Waived second reading and adopted Ordinance No. 2107 approving a PUD Development Plan <br /> for the construction of an automobile dealership consisting of an approximately 31,792 sq. ft. <br /> building with a 2,175 sq. ft. service canopy and 1,250 sq. ft. car wash, and related site <br /> improvements on the Auto Mall site at Staples Ranch, as filed under Case PUD-106 <br />
