ATTACHMENT 1 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> DECLARING AS SURPLUS ONE POLICE SEDAN, AND AUTHORIZING CITY <br /> MANAGER TO EXECUTE AGREEMENT DONATING THIS POLICE SEDAN TO LAS <br /> POSITAS COMMUNITY COLLEGE. <br /> WHEREAS, the Pleasanton Police Department surplused a 2009 Ford Crown Victoria, <br /> police sedan, VIN 2FAHP71V19X115485; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Pleasanton Police Department will donate this police sedan to the Las <br /> Positas Community College; and <br /> WHEREAS, this sedan has passed its useful and cost effective service life, and is highly <br /> desired by the Las Positas Community College for educational purposes. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE, AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1. The City Council hereby approves the donation of one surplused police <br /> sedan from the Pleasanton Police Department to the Las Positas Community College. <br /> SECTION 2. The transfer, transportation and other logistics of this donation will have <br /> no cost to the City of Pleasanton. <br /> SECTION 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br /> a regular meeting held on November 18, 2014. <br /> I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br /> resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the 18th day of <br /> November, 2014, by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: <br /> Noes: <br /> Absent: <br /> Abstain: <br /> Karen Diaz, City Clerk <br /> APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> Jonathan Lowell, City Attorney <br />
