ATTACHMENT 1 <br /> PLEASANTON HOUSING AUTHORITY <br /> RESOLUTION NO. HA-2014-4 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO SUBMIT TO AND PURSUE <br /> APPROVAL OF AN APPLICATION TO <br /> U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT (HUD) <br /> TO ALLOW THE DISPOSITION OF <br /> THE 50-UNIT KOTTINGER PLACE (HUD PROJECT NO. CA081000001) <br /> WHEREAS, The Pleasanton Housing Authority (the "Authority") owns and operates 50 units of senior <br /> Public Housing known as Kottinger Place, located on 3.3 acres at 240 Kottinger Drive (the "Site"); and <br /> WHEREAS, The Authority desires to complete a disposition of the Site to the City of Pleasanton to <br /> allow for the demolition of the current units and development of 103 new affordable units for seniors on <br /> the Site and approximately 185 units in total; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE BOARD OFCOMMISSIONERS OF THE PLEASANTON HOUSING <br /> AUTHORITY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1: The Authority supports the disposition of the Site to the City of Pleasanton for nominal <br /> consideration ($1)for the purpose of producing new affordable units as described herein. <br /> Section 2: The Authority supports the submission to HUD of an application to allow for such <br /> disposition, which includes among other elements the plans for relocation of current residents. <br /> Section 3. The Authority has sought resident input as required by HUD and has received a <br /> letter supporting the disposition from the Mayor of Pleasanton on behalf of himself and the City <br /> Council. <br /> Section 4: The Executive Director is authorized to submit to HUD for approval an application for <br /> disposition of the Site and to take action as needed to obtain approval. <br /> Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED OCTOBER 21, 2014. <br /> APPROVED: <br /> Jerry Thome, Chairperson <br /> Housing Authority Board of Directors <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Steven R.
