1-4 FEES <br /> <br />a. Fees Established- Before any permit required by <br /> this chapter is issued, the applicant therefor <br /> shall pay to the City of Pleasanton the fees for <br /> each building or structure as set forth in a <br /> Resolution Establishing Fees For Various Municipal <br /> Services. Said table of fees may be amended, <br /> partially or entirely, by subsequent resolution <br /> of the City Council. <br /> <br />b. Penalty for Work Started Without Permit. Where <br /> work for which a permit is required is commenced <br /> prior to obtaining said permit, the fee specified <br /> shall be doubled. The payment of such double fee <br /> shall not relieve any persons from fully complying <br /> with the requirements of this chapter nor from any <br /> other penalties prescribed by ordinance. <br /> <br /> c. Fee Exemptions. This chapter governs and controls <br /> the installation, alteration or repair of any elec- <br /> trical work in any building or structure owned or <br /> controlled by any public or quasi-public or political <br /> corporation or body. However, neither the State nor <br /> any county, city, district or political subdivision <br /> nor any public officer or body acting in an official <br /> capacity on behalf thereof shall pay or deposit any <br /> fee for the filing of any document or paper for the <br /> performance of any official service. <br /> <br /> 91-5 INSPECTIONS AND CERTIFICATE. <br /> Upon completion of the work which has been authorized <br /> by issuance of any permit, except an annual permit, <br /> it shall be the duty of the person, firm or corpor- <br /> ation installing the same to notify the Chief Build- <br /> ing Inspector or his duly appointed representative, <br /> who shall inspect the installation within forty-eight <br /> (48) hours, exclusive of Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays, <br /> of the time such notice is given or as soon there- <br /> after as practicable. <br /> Where the Chief Building Inspector or his duly <br /> appointed representative finds the installation to <br /> be in conformity with the provisions of this chapter <br /> he shall authorize the use of the installation and <br /> connection to the electrical utility furnishing the <br /> electric service. If upon inspection the installation <br /> is not found to be fully in conformity with the pro- <br /> visions of this chapter, the Chief Building Inspector <br /> or his duly appointed representative shall at once <br /> notify the person, firm or corporation making the <br /> installation, stating the defects which have been <br /> found to exist. <br /> <br /> 13 <br /> <br /> <br />
