THE CITY OF 6 <br /> PL£ASAcNTONQ CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> September 2, 2014 <br /> Community Development <br /> Engineering Division <br /> TITLE: ACCEPT PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS PERFORMED BY SANACT, INC. dba <br /> ROTO-ROOTER FOR THE STONERIDGE MALL SEWER BYPASS, <br /> PROJECT NO. 102018 <br /> SUMMARY' <br /> This project consists of the installation of 202 feet of 8-inch sewer line between two <br /> existing manholes for the sewer servicing the Stoneridge Mall area. Construction of this <br /> project is complete and ready for acceptance by City Council. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> 1. Accept the project improvements. <br /> 2. Authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion for the project. <br /> 3. Authorize payment of the retention in the amount of $2,092.19 to Sanact, Inc. <br /> dba Roto-Rooter of Livermore, California thirty days after the recordation of the <br /> Notice of Completion. <br /> 4. Authorize the transfer of the project balance of $107,895 to the Sewer Capital <br /> Improvement Fund. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> Funding for this project totaled $150,000 as outlined in Attachment 1. Expenditures <br /> totaled $42,105, leaving a balance of $107,895 to be returned to the Sewer Capital <br /> Improvement fund balance. <br />
