CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> August 19, 2014 <br /> Community Development <br /> Engineering Division <br /> TITLE: ACCEPT PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS CONSTRUCTED WITH TRACT 8020, <br /> STAPLES RANCH <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The Final Map, improvement plans and subdivision agreement for Tract 8020, Staples <br /> Ranch, were approved by City Council on July 19, 2011. Alameda County Surplus <br /> Property Authority has completed all improvements for the tract through Continuing Life <br /> Communities (CLC). All improvements have been inspected by the City and found to <br /> be satisfactory. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Staff recommends that the City Council accept all public improvements constructed with <br /> Tract 8020, Staples Ranch. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> The increase in City maintenance costs due to the public improvements constructed <br /> with this project (including Stoneridge Drive, Stoneridge Creek Way, the Stoneridge <br /> Drive bridge, bio-swales along Stoneridge Drive, and public utilities) will be offset by <br /> increased revenue from the associated developments. <br />
