"' CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> PL EASANTONo <br /> August 19, 2014 <br /> Community Development Department <br /> Engineering Division <br /> TITLE: APPROVE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT SECOND <br /> AMENDMENT WITH MOSAIC ASSOCIATES TO PROVIDE YEARS <br /> SEVEN, NINE AND TEN MITIGATION MONITORING AND REPORTING <br /> SERVICES FOR THE BERNAL AVENUE BRIDGE AT ARROYO DEL <br /> VALLE PROJECT, CIP NO. 995067 <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The Bernal Avenue Bridge at Arroyo Del Valle and mitigation wetland at Mission Creek <br /> site project was constructed in 2008. Five year post-construction mitigation and <br /> reporting from 2009 through 2013 has been completed. A Second Amendment to the <br /> professional services agreement with Mosaic Associates is proposed to cover the <br /> mitigation monitoring and reporting services for project years seven, nine, and ten, for <br /> the not-to-exceed amount of $16,135. This amendment includes the cost of preparing a <br /> long-term maintenance manual. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> 1. Approve the attached Second Amendment. <br /> 2. Authorize the City Manager to execute the attached amendment. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> The subject amendment will increase the project cost by $16,135 and is within the <br /> budgeted amount. Sufficient funds remain in the Bernal Avenue Bridge at Arroyo Del <br /> Valle project budget (CIP No. 995067) to cover this amendment. <br />
