MINUTES <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> May 20, 2014 <br /> Mayor Thorne called the regular meeting to order at the hour of 7:05 p.m. VFW Members Pledge of <br /> Allegiance and Councilmember Pentin provided introductory remarks. Operation Services Director <br /> Smith provided an update on the mandatory 25% water reduction. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Brown, Cook-Kallio, Narum, Pentin, Mayor Thorne <br /> Absent: None <br /> CLOSED SESSION REPORT <br /> Assistant City Attorney Seto reported the Council met in Closed Session, received information and <br /> provided direction to negotiating parties. <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> City Manager Fialho reported that Item 7 was continued to a future meeting, possibly June 3, 2014. <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> Administrative Services <br /> 1. Waived full reading and adopted Resolution No. 14-679 calling for the holding of a General <br /> Municipal Election for the election of municipal officers to be held Tuesday, November 4, 2014; <br /> and waived full reading and adopted Resolution No. 14-680 requesting that the County of <br /> Alameda Board of Supervisors consent to consolidation of the election with the Statewide General <br /> Election <br /> City Manager <br /> 2. Approved and authorized the City Manager to execute a Memorandum of Understanding with the <br /> Alameda County Sheriffs Office for the continued operation of the East County Animal Shelter <br /> Community Development <br /> 3. Actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission <br /> 4. Waived second reading and adopted Ordinance No. 2098 approving the PUD Development Plan <br /> to construct an automobile dealership consisting of an approximately 11,783-square-foot sales <br /> and presentation building, an approximately 45,000-square-foot, service building, an <br /> approximately 3,930-square-foot quality control building and non-public car wash, vehicle sales <br /> display area, and related site improvements on approximately 19.66 acres of the Auto Mall site at <br /> Staples Ranch, as filed under Case No. PUD-98 <br /> 5. Public Hearing: PUD-85-02-02D-06M, Hendrick Automotive Group — Introduced and waived full <br /> reading of Ordinance No. 2099 approving a Planned Unit Development (PUD) Major Modification <br /> to the existing PUD Development Plan (PUD-85-02-02D) for: (1) the demolition of all existing <br /> buildings; and (2) the construction and operation of an approximately 83,300-square-foot <br /> automobile showroom and service facility for Lexus of Pleasanton located at 4335-4345 <br /> Rosewood Drive <br />
