Exhibit A <br /> Scope of Services <br /> for <br /> New Dog Park, 3200 West Lagoon Road, Pleasanton, California <br /> June 5, 2014 <br /> Tanaka Design Group will be responsible for providing all proposed services and <br /> products as outlined below: <br /> Work Product No. 1: Programming and Design Development: <br /> A. Conduct a Biological Evaluation of the project area and prepare a letter, <br /> to determine how wildlife may be impacted by the proposed <br /> improvements. <br /> B. Conduct a Parking Study to ensure that adequate parking will be provided <br /> for future users of the dog park. <br /> C. Survey the site and prepare a Topographic Map of the existing conditions. <br /> D. Conduct site investigation to be familiar with the existing conditions and <br /> proposed improvements. <br /> E. Prepare a preliminary Schematic Design Plan with Construction Cost <br /> Estimate and submit it to the Client for review and feedback. <br /> F. Prepare draft Schematic Design Plan that will identify all landscape <br /> improvements. Develop a preliminary Construction Cost Estimate for the <br /> proposed Plan. Submit Plan to Client for review and feedback. <br /> G. Conduct a workshop at a Parks and Recreation Commission hearing <br /> (Presentation No. 1), to provide an opportunity for the community to <br /> express their concerns and ask questions based on their review of the <br /> draft Schematic Design Plan. <br /> H. Prepare a Final Schematic Design Plan with Construction Cost Estimate <br /> and submit them to the Client for review and feedback. <br /> Prepare and present a Conceptual Design Plan at a Parks and <br /> Recreation Commission hearing (Presentation No. 2) for their review and <br /> comments. If the comments require extensive revisions to the design, <br /> prepare a revised Conceptual Design Plan at another Parks and <br /> Recreation Commission hearing (Presentation No. 3). <br /> J. Based on the comments given at the Parks and Recreation Commission <br /> hearings, refine the design and documents as necessary and present the <br /> Final Conceptual Design Plan at a City Council hearing (Presentation No. <br /> 4). <br /> K. MEETINGS: <br /> During the Design Development phase of work, the Landscape Architect <br /> will attend up to three (3)Team and/or Client coordination meetings. <br />
