Selection of a Site for the Future Location of an Off-Leash Doti Park <br /> Mr. Bocian advised that at its February 4, 2014 meeting, City Council had directed staff to look <br /> for alternative locations for an off-leash dog park on the Bernal Property, as well as other <br /> locations within the City, that are exclusive from the portions of the Bernal Community Park <br /> that are included as pat of Phase II (Oak Woodland and multi-purpose sports fields). <br /> Responding to the Council's directive, staff has identified three locations for the Commission to <br /> consider, and assuming one is selected by the Commission, it will forward the <br /> recommendation to City Council for their direction pertaining to priority, funding, design and <br /> construction. Maintenance and operations of a selected dog park will be addressed later as <br /> part of the park development process. <br /> Mr. Bocian reviewed with the Commission a Power-Point presentation and comments of the <br /> three site locations staff was recommending the Commission consider: <br /> Parks and Recreation Commission <br /> May 8, 2014 <br /> Page 1 <br />
