PLEASANTON TENNIS AND COMMUNITY PARK EXPANSION <br /> PROJECT DESCRIPTION: <br /> Prepare design and construction documents for the addition of two (2) new lighted tennis courts at the <br /> Tennis and Conununity Park located at Paseo Santa Cruz and Valley Avenue. The new courts will be <br /> located in the open turf-area, immediately west of existing courts 8 & 9 in conformance with the Park's <br /> original Master Plan and will be designed to the same standard and appearance as the existing courts. <br /> This project involves design only and funding for construction and other elements will addressed as <br /> part of next year's Capital Improvement Program. <br /> PROJECT JUSTIFICATION: <br /> The two new courts will complement the City's current tennis program and will partially satisfy the <br /> recommendations of the Parks and Recreation Master Plan. It will also conform to the original vision <br /> for the park.
