Nal r III <br /> pLEASANTON. <br /> SUPPLEMENTAL MATERIAL <br /> Provided to the City Council <br /> MEMORANDUM After Distribution of Packet <br /> Date: May 20, 2014 Date d s-."0 -/ /�// <br /> To: Mayor Thorne and City Council members <br /> From: Nelson Fialho, City Manager <br /> Brian Dolan, Director of Community Development <br /> Subject: Item 14: P14-0011 and PUD-101 KottingerGardens, MidPen Housing Corporation <br /> Staff is recommending the following attachment revisions and clarifications/additions to the Conditions <br /> of Approval (Attachment 1-B, Exhibit A) in order to address items discussed in the staff report or <br /> correct conflicts in the conditions of approval. <br /> Attachment Revisions <br /> Attachment 1A, Exhibit A— Exhibit.A (attached) has been revised to show the parcels being rezoned <br /> to PUD=HDR (Planned Unit Development=High Density Residential) rather than PUD (Planned Unit <br /> Development) only. <br /> Conditions of Approval <br /> Only the conditions of approval with additions and/or changes are shown below, with changes shown <br /> in strikeout and underline. All other recommended conditions of approval are unchanged. <br /> 28. The applicant shall provide striping and signing plan for public street improvements. The plan <br /> shall include signing and striping for the proposed Kottinger Drive mid-block raised crosswalk. <br /> The plan shall include 40 50 feet of red curb to the west of the proposed Kottinger Drive <br /> driveway of the Kottinger Place site. <br /> 55.. In addition to the trees identified to be pre served in the tree report prepared for the applicant <br /> by HORTScience, dated July 3, 2013,the applicant shall preserve tree 164 and 165. <br /> 58. All demolition and construction activities, inspections, plan checking, material delivery, staff <br /> assignment or coordination, etc., shall be limited to the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., <br /> Monday through Saturday Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays. No construction <br /> shall be allowed on State or Federal Holidays or Sundays. The Director of Community <br /> Development may allow earlier "start-times" or later "stop-times" for specific construction <br /> activities (e.g., concrete pouring), if it can be demonstrated to the satisfaction of the Director of <br /> Community Development that the construction noise and construction traffic noise will not <br /> affect nearby residents or businesses. All construction equipment must meet Department of <br /> Motor Vehicles (DMV) noise standards and shall be equipped with muffling devices. Prior to <br /> construction, the applicant shall post on the site the allowable hours of construction activity. <br />
