CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 905 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE I, CHAPTER 1, SECTION 1-1.15 <br /> (INFRACTIONS) BY DESIGNATING ADDITIONAL CODE SECTIONS TO <br /> BE PUNISHABLE AS INFRACTIONS RATHER THAN MISDEMEANORS. <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Section 1-1.15 (Infractions) of Chapter 1 (General <br />Provisions), Title I (Administration), of the Ordinance Code of <br />the City of Pleasanton is hereby amended in its entirety to read <br />as follows: <br /> <br /> ~ 1-1.15 Infractions. Notwithstanding Sec. 1-1.11, any <br /> person who violates a provision of this code designated <br /> herein shall be guilty of an infraction, punishable by <br /> (1) a fine not exceeding fifty dollars ($50.00) for the <br /> first violation; (2) a fine not exceeding one hundred <br /> dollars ($100.00) for a second violation of the same <br /> ordinance within one year; (3) a fine not exceeding two <br /> hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) for each additional <br /> violation of the same ordinance within one year. The <br /> following sections are designated punishable as <br /> infractions: <br /> <br /> (1) Title IV, Chapter 2, Article 2 (Teenage Dances) <br /> (2) Title IV, Chapter 2, Article 3 (Taxicabs) <br /> (3) Title IV, Chapter 2, Article 4 (Bicycles) <br /> <br /> (4) Title IV, Chapter 2, Article 7 (Card Rooms) <br /> (5) Title IV, Chapter 2, Article 8 (Litter) <br /> (6) Title IV, Chapter 2, Article 9 (Garbage) <br /> (7) Title IV, Chapter 2, Article 11 (Pinball Machines) <br /> (8) Title IV, Chapter 2, Article 12 (Firearms and Beebee Guns) <br /> (9) Title IV, Chapter 2, Article 13 (Curfew for Minors) <br /> (10) Title IV, Chapter 2, Article 17 (Parades) <br /> <br /> (11) Title IV, Chapter 3 (Animal Control) <br /> (12) Title IV, Chapter 5 (Regulation of Recreation Facilities) <br /> (13) Title IV, Chapter 6 (Drinking in Public) <br /> <br /> (14) Title V, Chapter 2 (Traffic Control Devices and <br /> Regulations Relating to Vehicular <br /> and Pedestrian Movement) <br /> (15) Title V, Chapter 3 (Stopping or Parking of Vehicles) <br /> <br /> <br />
