THE CITY OF _ 6 <br /> CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> FLEASANTON0 <br /> March 18, 2014 <br /> Community Development <br /> Planning Division <br /> TITLE: AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO APPROVE A <br /> PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH PACIFIC <br /> MUNICIPAL CONSULTANTS (PMC) FOR PLANNING SERVICES IN <br /> AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $50,400 <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The Planning Division anticipates the need for temporary planning assistance as the <br /> result of an Associate Planner being on maternity leave for 14 weeks starting in <br /> mid-March 2014. The Pacific Municipal Consultants (PMC) proposes to provide an <br /> experienced professional planner to fill this temporary need, for a total contract amount <br /> not to exceed $50,400. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Authorize the City Manager to enter into a Professional Services Agrement with Pacific <br /> Municipal Consultants (PMC). <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> The contract total amount not to exceed $50,400 will be covered by approximately <br /> $18,000 in salary savings. The remaining $32,400 would come from the Contingency <br /> fund. <br />
