mented under the following divisions. <br /> <br />(1) DIVISION A - Agriculture, Forestry, Fishing <br /> <br /> (2) DIVISION B - Mining <br /> <br /> (3) DIVISION D - Manufacturing <br /> <br /> (4) DIVISION E - Transportation, Communications, Electric, <br /> Gas, and Sanitary Services <br /> <br /> (5) DIVISION I - Services <br />A user in the Divisions listed is excluded if the user <br />discharges less than 25,000 gallons per day of equiva- <br />lent sanitary flows or if the user is agovernmental or <br />residential user. <br /> <br /> (j) ICR: Industrial Cost Recovery. <br /> <br /> (k) LOCAL COSTS: Local costs are those which are borne <br /> in their entirety by the City and include all expense in- <br /> curred up to the point of delivery to the District system <br /> and all expense associated with disposing City effluent <br /> via the Livermore-Amador Valley Water Management Agency's <br /> wastewater export system. <br /> <br /> (1) MG: Million gallons. <br /> <br /> (m) MULTIPLE-FAMILY DWELLING: A multiple-family dwelling <br /> includes triplexes, quadplexes, apartments, and mobile homes. <br /> (n) PL 92-500: The Federal Water Pollution Control Act <br /> Amendments of 1972. <br /> <br /> (o) REGIONAL COSTS: Regional costs are those which are <br /> shared by the City and District in accordance with the <br /> cost of providing service for each agency and include all <br /> wastewater treatment costs incurred by the District. <br /> <br /> (p) RESIDENTIAL USER: Any user introducing into the sewer- <br /> age system domestic wastes from a single-family dwelling, or <br /> from a unit of a multiple-family dwelling. <br /> <br /> (q) RESIDENTIAL DISCHARGE EQUIVALENCY: A unit of waste- <br /> water discharge equal in volume and strength to the dis- <br /> charge of a typical residential user. This shall be 280 <br /> gallons per day of flow, .5534 lb per day of BOD, and <br /> .4076 lb per day of SS. <br /> <br /> (r)SCHOOLS: Any public or private institutions of learning <br /> that introduce into the City's sewerage system primarily <br /> segregated domestic waste or wastes from sanitary conveniences <br /> <br /> -2- <br /> <br /> <br />
