RE~OLUTION NO. 2302 <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the Town of Pleasan- <br /> <br />ton, a municipal corporation of the sixth class, located in the County <br />of Alameda, State of California, does by this Resolution declare that <br />there has been presented to the City Council, a petition heretofore <br />submitted to the Boundary Commission of Alameda County, and reported <br />upon to both the proponents and the Town of Pleasanton with respect to <br />the definiteness and certainty of the proposed boundaries in said <br />petition, which petition signed by the owners of not less than one <br />fourth of the area of land in such territory hereinafter in this <br />Resolution particularly described and representing not less than one <br />fourth of the assessed value of such territory hereinafter in this <br />Resolution described, according to the last preceding equalized assess- <br />ment roll of the county in which said territory is situated, was there- <br />after filed ~ith the City Clerk of the Town of Pleasanton requesting <br />that the boundaries of the Town of Pleasanton be altered and the un- <br />inhabited territory hereinafter in this Resolution described, be annexed <br />to the Town of Pleasanton and incorporated hherein, pursuant to and as <br />provided in and by Secions 35300 to and including Section 35320, part 2, <br />chapter 1, Article 5, Government Code of the State of California, and <br />cited as the "Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939." <br /> <br /> The uninhabited territory sought to be annexed to, incor- <br />porated and included in the Town of Pleasanton, a municipal corporation <br />of the sixth class, located in the County of Alameda, State of California, <br />is all that land and/or unin~abited territory situate, lying and being <br />in the Township of Pleasanton, County of Alameda, State of California, <br />the specific exterior boundaries of which territory is as follows: <br /> <br /> Beginning at the point of intersection of the eastern line <br />of Main Street in the Town of Pleasanton and the northerly boundary <br />line of the Town of Pleasanton, said boundary line bein~ described in <br />the charter of the Town of Pleasanton as the "southerly bank of the <br />arroyo del valle," thence North 17© &5' East, along said easterly line <br />of Main Street prolonged known as Santa Rita Road (County Road No. 1533), <br /> <br /> <br />
