I invested dearly to improve the building
located at 5100 Hopyard and bring Black Bear Diner to our wonderful Pleasanton community.
As expected, we opened our doors on Monday, December 9th, and folks came in great numbers.
But to our dismay, our DSL kept going down and caused us many problems in checking out our
guests who we're paying with credit cards. The reason for this is because AT&T only offers
one megabyte of "upload". We need a minimum of three megabytes "upload" to successfully
operate of credit card, POS, and security, and IT systems. So this is a negative part of
doing business in Pleasanton.
I am encouraged to hear that our wise Counsel is embracing this problem, and hopeful for a
soon remedy.
Thank you for hearing me.
Sincerely,
Celina Gonzales, Owner
Black Bear Diner of Pleasanton
(925) 260-0738
1
