MINUTES <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> November 5, 2013 <br /> Mayor Thorne called the regular meeting to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. Councilmember Brown led <br /> the Pledge of Allegiance and provided introductory remarks. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Brown, Cook-Kallio, Narum, Pentin, Mayor Thorne <br /> Absent: None <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> City Manager Fialho noted that the Council was provided with an amendment to the minutes of October <br /> 15, 2013. He also noted that Exhibit 2 for Item 5 failed to make it into the agenda packet. Exhibit 2, <br /> which acknowledges consistency with the building code that governs the various amendments, was a <br /> part of the first reading of the ordinance. <br /> CLOSED SESSION REPORT <br /> City Attorney Lowell reported the Council met in Closed Session regarding anticipated litigation. No <br /> further reportable action was taken. <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> Administrative Services <br /> 1. Approved regular meeting minutes of October 1 (Brown abstained) and 15, 2013 <br /> City Council <br /> 2. Approved commissions and committees appointments - Bicycle, Pedestrian & Trails: Donald <br /> Johnston, Steven McGinnis, Richard Romine, Tom Hall (alternate), Kriti Jain (Youth); Civic Arts <br /> (unexpired Terms): Sandra Jellison, Alternate John Steenman; Economic Vitality: Business at <br /> Large Member Albert Lombardo; Energy & the Environment: Roger Harris, Steve Dennis, Timothy <br /> Shurtleff; Housing Commission: Colleen Lopez; Planning Commission: Greg O'Connor; Youth <br /> Commission: Saira Grewal (Member at Large Seat #2); Russell Ambrosiewicz (Thomas Hart <br /> Middle School) <br /> At Councilmember Pentin's request, Mayor Thorne read the individual names of the various <br /> appointments. <br /> Community Development <br /> 3. Received actions of the Zoning Administrator <br /> 4. Public Hearing: Introduced and waived first reading of Ordinance No. 2084 modifying the <br /> Development Agreements for several properties in Hacienda Phase I and Phase II to extend the <br /> Development Agreements by five years from 2013 to 2018. The properties are located at 5901 <br /> and 6001 Gibraltar Drive, 4225 and 4300 Hacienda Drive, 5800 and 5805 Owens Drive, 4501 <br /> Rosewood Drive, and 4747 Willow Road, and are zoned PUD-I/C-O (Planned Unit Development— <br /> Industrial/ Commercial-Office) or PUD-MU (Planned Unit Development — Mixed Use) Districts, as <br /> filed under Case P13-2191 <br />
