We have distributed nearly 20,000 brochures to date and will soon update and print a new batch of brochures. We have a Dining Brochure, Shopping Brochure, Spa &Salon Brochure, Arts & Entertainment Brochure and Services Brochure. Brochures are available throughout downtown and at many Tri-Valley hotels, Alameda County Fairgrounds and numerous Livermore Valley wineries. • Held an all-day Board Planning Retreats to review our PDA Strategic Plan and make necessary changes to ensure the focus of the organization is in lock-step with the needs of our Downtown. • Continued to work with the Firehouse Arts Center on cross-promotion opportunities. The PDA is very focused on the success of the Firehouse and wants to help promote and support the theater in every way possible. We see it as a cornerstone of downtown. • Continued to grow 1st Wednesdays by the expansion of both the ArtBlock area and Farmers Market. • Monitored the implementation and tracked the success of the Downtown Hospitality Guidelines. • Sent our monthly e-newsletter for members and a monthly Member to Member Promotions e- newsletter. • Distributed A Guide to Downtown Outdoor Displays, distributed to members and available at the City for new businesses. • Created opportunities for business networking with three membership mixers in February,June (partnering with the Chamber of Commerce) and November. • Held the PDA Installation Mixer on February 12 at the Redcoats; highlights included installation of the 2013 Board of Directors, recognition of the departing directors and recognition of the 2012 quarterly NEAT award recipients. • Held the PDA's Annual Meeting (free for all members to attend) on Tuesday, February 12th where the PDA Board provided a full review of 2012 for all PDA members in attendance. • Continued a proactive approach toward downtown vacancies by maintaining an inventory of potential tenants, assisting property owners in listing available properties and working with the city's Economic Development Director. Met with property owners, tenants, potential tenants and commercial agents. Additionally the PDA worked closely with the City to create a downtown "Wish List" that captures community feedback of what kind of businesses our residents and visitors would like to see in Downtown. This list is available for property owners, business owners, developers, etc. • The Parking Subcommittee, charged with finding ways to improve parking, continued to work with property owners on different parking strategies. Our Parking Committee also created a beautiful, full-color, downtown parking map which is downloadable from our website and social media channels and also available in numerous downtown businesses. • Sent over 60 press releases that were picked up by numerous media outlets throughout the Bay Area. We experienced very high media pick up which included numerous articles and live on- camera interviews by ABC 7, Fox News, CBS 5 and TV30. • Continued to grow the Associate Member program, offered to Tri-Valley businesses not located in the downtown district, to over 200 members. • Continued to increase strategic alliances and collaborate with community Partners: Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce, Livermore Downtown Association, Firehouse Arts Center, Pleasanton Cultural Arts Foundation, Valley Humane Society, the Museum on Main,the Library, Pleasanton Heritage Association, Alameda County Fairgrounds, Livermore Valley Winegrowers Association, Tri-Valley Conservancy and Visit Tri-Valley. 3
