Alameda County Altamont Landfill Open Space Fund <br /> Castleridge Property Acquisition <br /> Pleasanton Ridge Regional Park <br /> East Bay Regional Pork District <br /> ADDITIONAL INFORMATION <br /> Easements <br /> There is an appurtenant easement benefitting the property which allows for ingress/egress <br /> access and utilities from Old Foothill Road. <br /> The property is not connected to water, sewer, storm or electricity. <br /> The property is not subject to a Williamson Act-Land Conservation contract. <br /> Environmental Hazards <br /> There are no known environmental hazards on the property. The property is located within <br /> the following zones: <br /> Flood Hazard: According to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for the <br /> National Flood Insurance Program, the property is located in Flood Zone "X", an area of 500 <br /> year flooding. <br /> Earthquake Hazard: The property is transected by the Calaveras Fault and is subject to <br /> earthquakes and landslides. <br /> Wetland Preserve: <br /> There is an active spring on the property that creates a wetland area. <br /> Endangered Species: <br /> The property may support the following plant and animal special status species: Santa Clara red <br /> ribbons, Alameda whipsnake, pallid bat, Yuma myotis bat, California red-legged frog, Golden <br /> eagle, California tiger salamander, foothill yellow-legged frog. <br /> CEQA Exemption <br /> Under CEQA and the District's Environmental Review Manual, this project is Categorically <br /> Exempt and therefore not subject to preparation and processing of environmental <br /> documentation. The project consists of the acquisition of land in order to create a park. This <br /> land Is currently in a natural condition and will remain in a natural condition for the acquisition <br /> phase of this project. <br /> Any future plans for trail connections or resource enhancement will receive the appropriate <br /> level of CEQA review. <br />
