EBMUD Recycled Water Program—any City Secondary Effluent not being used or <br /> needed for the production of Recycled Water for use or delivery by the City <br /> Recycled Water Program. In accordance with Section 7.c.iii, City shall operate <br /> Tassajara Reservoir in a manner that maximizes the availability of Recycled Water <br /> for use in the City Recycled Water Program and the DSRSD Recycled Water <br /> Program by reducing peak daily demand for Recycled Water directly delivered <br /> from the Recycled Water Treatment Facility. <br /> 5. Recycled Water Program Support. District shall assist City with the initial <br /> permitting and initial support needed for the City to use Recycled Water to irrigate <br /> all or portions of Val Vista Park as City may decide. Said support shall be limited to <br /> reasonable amounts of District staff time for consultations and furnishing existing <br /> written materials such as District Recycled Water Use Guidelines and <br /> Requirements, District standard construction and inspection standards and <br /> drawings and site supervisor training for City staff at Val Visa Park. In addition, the <br /> District shall cooperate and assist the City in permitting Recycled Water usage at <br /> Val Vista Park under the District's existing Recycled Water Permit. City shall <br /> reimburse District the direct cost of providing requested support. <br /> 6. Third Party Funding Cooperation. The Parties shall work cooperatively to lobby <br /> and apply for future State and Federal grants and loans for future funding of the <br /> Parties' respective Recycled Water Programs. The Parties shall also work <br /> cooperatively to encourage Zone 7 to equitably participate in the future funding of <br /> the Parties' Recycled Water Programs. <br /> 7. Operation Coordination and Facility Integration. <br /> a. General. In accordance with this section, the Parties shall integrate facilities <br /> and coordinate operation of their Recycled Water Distribution Systems to <br /> reasonably minimize peak daily demand for direct delivery of Recycled Water <br /> from the Recycled Water Treatment Facility and to reasonably maximize the <br /> beneficial use of Recycled Water. <br /> b. Operation Coordination. The Parties shall develop a plan for coordinated <br /> operation of their Recycled Water Distribution Systems to the extent necessary, <br /> Page 6 of 19 <br />
