High lieu fees must be absorbed by the housing project and will ultimately reduce supply and drive <br /> up market rate housing. I urge you to be measured in any discussion on setting in lieu fees, and be mindful of how <br /> capacity to build is diminished when additional costs are added. <br /> Please help those who can create housing do so at a rate that meets demand.
