Maria Hoey
Subject: P13-1858, East Pleasanton Specific Plan - Questions and Concerns
From: Vince Wang
Sent: Wednesday, September 25, 2013 9:28 AM
To: Janice Stern
Subject: P13-1858, East Pleasanton Specific Plan - Questions and Concerns
Dear Janice,
We are resident of Ironwood community at 1174 Wenig Court.
I are writing to you to express our serious concern about the proposed plan.
1: traffic: I drop off kids in the morning, It is so difficult to drive on the road. I have to wait for long time to get onto the
Valley Ave and Santa Rita road for now. If you add another around 1800 homes in this area, The maim roads will be
parking lot in the morning and afternoon.
2: multi-unit and low income housing: There are senior apartments and senior homes close to our community. This should
be considered in your calculations to meet state government requirements and calculating our share of these types of
homes. There is already a multi-unit housing planned at the corner of the Stanely and Valley. That should be enough for
this area.
3: single family homes are being built alongside Stanely (Stanely & El Charro and Stanely and Valley). In order preserve
the neighborhood appearance and maintain the value of our properties, it would make sense to built multi unit homes
along side these streets and intersections and build only single family homes along Busch road. On the other hand, the
buses are running along the major roads, should you consider that you will help the people to use the public
transportation easily?
Thanks a lot.
Wenchao Wang
i
