Attachment 1 CONTRACT PLEASANTON TENNIS AND COMMUNITY PARK TENNIS COURT RECONSTRUCTION AND RESURFACING PROJECT NO. 138055 THIS CONTRACT is made and entered into this 16th day of October, 2013 by and between Vintage Contractors, Inc., ("Contractor"), whose address is 2367 Ocean Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94127, and telephone number is (415) 282-1602 and the CITY OF PLEASANTON, a municipal corporation ("City"). WITNESSETH: WHEREAS, the City has awarded to the Contractor a contract for PLEASANTON TENNIS AND COMMUNITY PARK TENNIS COURT RECONSTRUCTION AND RESURFACING PROJECT NO. 138055 NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises set forth herein, the parties agree as follows: 1. Work to be Performed. The work will consist of the complete slipsheet resurfacing of five (5) existing tennis courts at the Pleasanton Tennis and Community Park, 5801 Valley Avenue, Pleasanton. Said work is more particularly shown in the following documents which are on file with the Department of Community Development/Engineering Division of the City and are incorporated herein by this reference: A. Approved Plans and Specifications entitled the PLEASANTON TENNIS AND COMMUNITY PARK TENNIS COURT RECONSTRUCTION AND RESURFACING PROJECT NO. 138055 and addenda thereto, if any. B. Contract Change Orders approved by the City Engineer, done in accordance with the Standard Specifications. C. The elements of the proposal submitted to the City by the Contractor, which the City has accepted. 2. Compensation. The City shall pay the Contractor for work actually performed at the unit prices set out in the Contractor's proposal to the City as set forth in Exhibit A of this agreement and incorporated herein. The quantities of work stated therein are estimates only; actual quantities will be measured for payment in accordance with the specifications.
