Expenses are applied <br />separately and are not included in the project schedule costs. <br />We believe that RCC offers significant benefits to the Cities of Pleasanton and <br />Livermore, including: <br />Public Safety Communications Expertise — For 30 years, RCC has <br />specialized in the planning, design, procurement, implementation and <br />optimization of government and public safety communications, information <br />systems, public safety answering points, communications centers and <br />emergency operations centers. <br />Management and Technical Knowledge — Each member of the RCC team is a <br />seasoned veteran of the public safety communications industry, bringing to the <br />City years of experience in developing strategies for improving the efficiency <br />and effectiveness of public safety communications systems. Our experienced <br />team has the experience and certifications that distinguishes it as having <br />attained a qualifying level of competency that cannot be matched. Many of our <br />staff participate on industry standards setting organizations such as the National <br />Emergency Number Association's Technical Committee, responsible for <br />establishing Next Generation 9 -1 -1 standards, and the National Public Safety <br />Telecommunications Council which is actively involved in developing next <br />generation public safety broadband networks. <br />Independence — RCC is not affiliated with, nor do we have any financial <br />interest in, any communications equipment manufacturer, distributor, or <br />supplier. We do not receive or accept remuneration of any type from any <br />manufacturer, distributor, or supplier for recommending any of their products. <br />Our unbiased independent position provides our clients a capable partner in <br />meeting their project requirements. <br />2 <br />
