<br />Ordinance No. 863 <br /> <br />Maintenance of Heating, Ventilating, Cooling and Refrigeration <br />Systems), Chapter 7 (Mechanical Code), Title II (Zoning and <br />Development) of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton <br />is hereby amended along with the title of Article 1, to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br />-- <br /> <br />Article 1 <br /> <br />Adoption of Uniform Mechanical Code with <br />Additions, Modifications and Deletions <br /> <br />~2-14.28 Adoption of Uniform Mechanical Code. There is hereby <br />adopted by the City of Pleasanton that certain code known <br />as the UNIFORM MECHANICAL CODE, 1976 Edition, published by <br />the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical <br />Officials and the International Conference of Building <br />Officials except as amended, modified or deleted in this <br />article. Three (3) copies of this code are on file with <br />the City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton for use by the <br />public. <br /> <br />Section 304 (Permit Fees) of the Uniform Mechanical Code is <br />amended by deleting the "Schedule of Fees" on Page 7 and <br />by modifying Section 304 to read as follows: <br />Such applicant shall pay for each permit at the time of <br />issuance, a fee in the amount established in the Reso- <br />lution Establishing Fees and Charges for Various Municipal -- <br />Services. <br /> <br />Section 4. Adoption of the 1976 Edition of the Uniform Housing Code. <br />The UNIFORM HOUSING CODE, 1976 Edition, published by the Inter- <br />national Conference of Building Officials is hereby adopted by <br />reference. There are three (3) copies of this Uniform Code on <br />file in the office of the City Clerk for the use of the public. <br />Section 2-16.32 (Adoption of Uniform Housing Code), Article 1 <br />(Adoption of Uniform Housing Code), Chapter 10 (Uniform Housing <br />Code), Title II (Zoning and Development) is amended so that <br />whenever the words "1970 Edition" are used "1976 Edition" shall <br />be substituted: where the section refers to "a certified copy," <br />"three (3) certified copies" shall be substituted. <br /> <br />Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days <br />after the date of its final passage and adoption. <br /> <br />Section 6.
