<br />Ordinance No. 863 <br /> <br />3. Section 303(a) is amended to read as follows: <br />'Section 303(a) Building Permit Fees. A fee for <br />each building permit shall be paid to the City <br />prior to the issuance of the permit. Said fee <br />shall be in an amount included in a Resolution <br />Establishing Fees and Charges for Various Muni- <br />cipal Services. <br /> <br />The determination of value or valuation under any <br />of the provisions of this Code shall be made by <br />the Building Official. The valuation to be used <br />in computing the permit and plan check fees <br />shall be the total value of all construction <br />work for which the permit is issued, as well <br />as all finish work, painting, roofing, plumbing, <br />heating, air conditioning, elevators, fire <br />extinguishing systems and any other permanent <br />work or equipment. <br /> <br />Where work for which a permit is required by this <br />Code is started or proceeded without obtaining <br />said permit, the fees specified shall be doubled, <br />but the payment of such double fee shall not <br />relieve any persons from fully complying with the <br />requirements of this Code in the execution of the <br />work nor from any other penalties prescribed <br />herein. ' <br /> <br />4. Section 303(b) is amended to read as follows: <br />'Section 303(b) Plan - Checking Fees. A plan <br />checking fee shall be paid, when appropriate, <br />in an amount established in a Resolution Estab- <br />lishing Fees and Charges for various Municipal <br />Services. Where plans are incomplete or changed <br />so as to require additional plan checking, an <br />additional plan check fee shall be charged <br />at a rate established by the Building Official.' <br /> <br />5. Section 160l(a) is amended to read as follows: <br />'Section l60l(a) Fire Zones Defined. For the <br />purposes of this Code, the entire City is hereby <br />declared to be, and is hereby established, a <br />Fire District and said fire District shall be <br />known and designated as Fire Zones Two and Three. <br /> <br />Fire Zone Two shall include all properties now <br />zoned, or zoned in the future, for Commercial, <br />Industrial: Public and Institutional: and Rock, <br />Sand and Gravel Extraction. <br /> <br />Non-residential uses in Agricultural and Resi- <br />dential Zones shall be considered to be within -- <br />Fire Zone Two. <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br />r I T <br />
