The City of Pleasanton 200 Old Bernal Ave. Pleasanton, CA 94566 Subject: East Amador Relief Sewer Pump Station and Pipeline (EARS) - Project No. 112031 Dear Mr. Ho: The purpose of this letter is to provide a scope of work and budget estimate proposal for design of the East Amador Relief Sewer Pump Station and Pipeline (Project No. 112031). SUMMARY The East Amador Relief Sewer (EARS) Pump Station and Pipeline Project includes design of the EARS pump station and pipeline and improvements to the EARS collection system. The project has expanded in scope since we submitted a scope/budget April 10, 2012 to include improvements to the EARS. These additional tasks include review the EARS pir eline video inspection, provide design documents to repair the EARS pipeline T-Lok liner, aid design of the interconnection points between the EARS and EATS pipelines. We have met with the City to discuss the scope and drawing list since our last p tposal July 2013 and have revised our cost accordingly. The attached scope/budget outline 3 our assumptions for the revised scope/budget. We are also developing a scope/budget for design of the Dublin Trunk Main in consultation with DSRSD. There may be cost sharing opportunities since these projects will be designed in parallel, including surveying, geotechnical services, and potholing. Table 1 provides a summary of our engineering budget for the EARS pump stati pn and force main, and the collection system improvements projects. Refer to Appendix A for the drawing list and Appendix C for the detailed Budget Estimate. We look forward to moving forward on this project.
